I've share
about how to make a simple battery charger on my previous article. That simple
battery charger will always charge the battery although the battery is on full
condition. In this way, the electric current will still flow on the battery.
Finally, the battery will be overheated and broken. You must read How To Charge A Battery.
The way to
avoid electric-current overflow, we need a voltage regulator. The electric
current will be stopped when our battery voltage is equal to battery charger's
voltage that we've been setting.
And we can
see that's there is many regulator voltage. In this case I choose SCR as
regulator voltage to be the main component in automatic battery charger. Below is How To Make Automatic Battery Charger 25 A.
First SCR is
25RIA120 that can work in 25 Ampere electric current. He is the main gate to
flow the battery charger current, when the gate is opened.
The second
SCR I choose is BT151 that can work until 5 Ampere electric current. This SCR
function as 25RIA120 opener.
By this
scheme, we work on 5 - 25 Ampere current. I hope this article will helped

NOTE :
1.
we can play on #1 SCR to manage the current.
2.
We need to set TR 4K7 until we get the suitable cut-off
voltage output we needed.
